COURSE DESCRIPTION
Suitable for corporate employees with five years’ or less of international tax experience, TEI’s U.S. International Tax Course covers the core concepts of the U.S. taxation of multinational businesses. Starting with a session on the development of international tax law and policy, the program progresses through topics as diverse as the sourcing of income and expenses under section 861, the foreign tax credit and its limitations, earnings and profits, subpart F, transfer pricing under section 482, foreign currency issues, FATCA, and inbound and outbound transactions under section 367.  This course is open to members of TEI and other in-house tax professionals (Individuals engaged in private law, accounting, or other consulting practice, as well as government employees, are ineligible to attend.).
CPE/CLE INFORMATION
This 5-day course provides approximately 35.5 credits on a 50-minute hour basis, 29.5 credits on 60-minute hour basis, (including 1 ethics credit). There are no prerequisites, nor is any preparation necessary.
HOUSING INFORMATION

NEW CONFERENCE HANDOUT MATERIALS
Course materials will be posted in a searchable form on TEI's website as they are received from the speakers in the TEIConnect section. Beginning two weeks before the course, registrants will be able to access the handouts, so they can download or print them out. No paper copies will be provided in your registration materials onsite, and there will be no onsite printing facilities. TEI encourages you to print documents of interest in advance. Wi-Fi will be available in the meeting rooms, however we do advise downloading the materials in advance due to the files size. Materials will remain accessible by course registrants for one month after the course.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing by 4:00 pm ET on June 19, 2017, and will be subject to an administrative service charge of $75 (U.S.); for cancellations after June 19, 2017 (the date handout materials become available) and before June 29, the charge will be $200 (U.S.). No refunds will be made for cancellations received after June 29 and for no-shows. . TEI cannot carry forward registration fees towards future events. If an issue arises after June 29 we encourage you to send a coworker in your place. Substitutions are $50 per person. To cancel please send an email meetings@tei.org. In the event of cancellation or oversubscription of the conference, TEI’s liability is limited to the return of the registration fee.
