TEI is excited to announce our inaugural TEI Webinar Series: Ethics CPE for Tax Professionals. The series consists of three practical and relevant ethics sessions focused on best practices in making ethical decisions in the tax practice, how to minimize risk arising in the discovery of filing mistakes and exploring key Circular 230 concepts and practical takeaways. The Webinars will be hosted via Zoom on December 18, 19 and 20 at Noon ET each day. The Webinars are open to TEI Members and those eligible for TEI Membership, you may purchase the full series of three sessions, or each webinar session can be purchased individually.
Session #1 - Tax Ethics in a Dynamic Professional Environment
Pragmatic advice and best practices for incorporating ethical decision-making into the practice of tax. This session will include a review of the intersection between personal and professional ethics and discussion of a framework through which to approach ethical challenges faced by tax professionals. Examples included in the session will examine the application of professional standards to situations that may arise in the tax world such as misinterpretations by taxing authorities and taxpayers during audits, and discovery that information initially provided to a tax authority during an audit was incorrect.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Cancellations will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. There is no partial refunds if you can only attend some of the sessions.
